Thanks, Rachel. That’s the only shot that was posed. They were visiting from the USA and had just arrived in Toronto. I assume they were there for the World Cup. They asked me to take their photo and we had a nice chat. Very nice young men — and stylish.
I couldn’t leave Toronto without taking at least one photo of the CN Tower. I developed more of an appreciation of the financial district. There are some lovely historic buildings there.
This is a very interesting collection where you found one place and continued to work it. Some seem outside looking in while others are inside looking out. Your interpretation offers wonderful street photography. LOve the white dog and its walker.
I’m inspired because I often think because I live in a resort tourist area without the dynamics of a large city like New York and we lack interesting people. Not in your photos. You show that there’s potential in a small town too.
Interesting things can be seen everywhere, even in the smallest towns and settlements. Wherever people are, or have been, there’s incident, drama, and beauty.
Thanks, Tom. We don’t have office buildings with such extensive glass here in Dunedin — or the rush of commuters. So I tried to take advantage of the different opportunities that Toronto offered.
